Jaap Bakema Fellowship (and research) .

The Jaap Bakema Fellowship is a grant for speculative and exploratory research (through design or other methods) at the interface between architecture, technology and society. The Fellowship enables me to work on my research into the relationships between terrorism, anti terror and the city. the research is focussing on providing more then just a description of the problem. The strategy i use is looking forward, trying to think how the new situation can bring new life into the city instead of destroying it.

The research resulted in an article in the A10-architecture magazine (nov/dec 2007 issue) and publication in the Architecture Bulletin from the NAi. I moved all research to a separate website. (link is provided).
